The goal is for us to work together to take better care of your mental health, for the long-term. Also, learn how to build and strengthen relationships, communication, and set boundaries with yourself and others. Saying "no" is ok and accepting "no" from others doesn't have to feel like a rejection. This is the time to take care of yourself and make the necessary changes to have a more fulfilling future.
I have a decade of experience in the mental health field and can share with you coping skills, healthy and effective communication in your relationships and how to express yourself in these unsettling times, My approach is using Art Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, which is based on reframing ones thinking, identifying emotions, and finding healthier ways to approach everyday stressors.
Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Therapy is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, trauma, or simply to get feelings off your chest, the benefits of therapy can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
